VIP Guest

Every term Liberty invites a special guest speaker to present and share their knowledge with our student body. This brings authentic content about their area of expertise. It could be related to services such as insurance, living in the USA, taxes, etc, or to general knowledge related to the history of the USA, an important person, the local culture, etc).

Our students at Elementary 3 and above participate during class time in this fantastic opportunity to broaden their knowledge on a wide range of topics and to practice their listening skills.

Conversation Worshops

Our language workshops are oriented towards lower level English students. Here we look to offer instrumental English focusing on communication on different topics, working with specific grammar and vocabulary. Our workshops are prepared by our fantastic teachers on themes which include American culture, holidays, traveling, seasons, etc.  These workshops are free to all our English students and only $20 for visiting students. Join us and participate in our fun and interactive workshops! They are a wonderful opportunity to practice and improve your English while meeting new people in a professional setting.

Arts at Liberty

Once a year renowned local artists are invited to showcase their work at our campus in Orlando. Our first event took place in 2017 when  artists Edson Campos (Brazil), Kath-leen Brodeur (USA) and Alberto Quintero (Colombia) showed their talent. Since then, we’ve been offering our local community a chance to celebrate and enjoy arts every year (with the exception of 2020, due to the Covid pandemic).

Arts at Liberty has featured artists such as: Pierre Britt, Marcia Lucas, Eduardo Guerini, Alberto Quintero, Edson Campus, Kethleen Brodeur, Everett Spruill, Sue Thompson, Jacqeline deAndrade, Gardenia Alston, Amanda Libberi, JDANIELDM, Pedro Brull and Pollyana Cosandey.

Halloween

Halloween is a time for everyone, from young kids to adults, to have some fun dressing up, having parties, going to haunted houses, watching scary movies and going trick-or-treating. At Liberty we have a Monster Party at the end of October with a costume contest amongst students and teachers. Halloween costumes vary from scary, spooky, funny, to unique.

Field Trip

A great way to practice English and socialize with your classmates is through field-trips. Learning English is not only about doing classroom activities, but it’s also about being able to practice using the language in real-world settings. Every term our teachers take our students on field-trips so they can socialize, explore new places, and practice English while having fun.

Other Events

Our fantastic team of staff and teachers promote different events every once in a while. From school projects, Karaoke, Night out, going to a sports game or just having a special day at the school. It’s never a boring day at Liberty and we really enjoy coming up with different events to make our student’s experience at Liberty truly memorable.

Community Outreach

Every year we partner with a non-profit organization to help those in need in our local community. Orlando has grown very rapidly over the last years and there are many people in our local community who struggle to obtain basic supplies or provide for their children. As a group, we are stronger and our team of students, staff and friends team up to donate and help those in need.
