ABOUT US

Founded in 2016, by Bernard Vasconcelos, Liberty Language Academy is an English school based in Orlando, FL. Since then, we’ve taught over 2,000 students from 48 countries. Liberty’s communicative approach is one in which learners feel that what they have to say is relevant and important. Language production goes beyond repeating words. Students are required to produce language in meaningful contexts and tasks in order to achieve goals, using language as one more tool. Language content (grammar and vocabulary) works toward the development of skills, paving the way for effective communication in order to empower our learners.

Bernard is a Brazilian entrepreneur who has been working in the education field since 2007. He ran a language school in Brazil with 3k students. He has been living in Orlando for over 18 years. Bernard holds a Masters in Business and a Masters in Education, the CELTA and a post-grad certificate in Teaching Methodology.

Reynaldo is a Venezuelan professional with a distinguished background in computer science and business administration. He possesses a wealth of experience, having worked in management, administration, and customer service for over 15 years. Throughout his career, Reynaldo has been extensively involved in supporting international students, contributing to their success over the past 7 years.
Yvette Olivo
Yvette OlivoAcademic Coordinator
Yvette is a Puerto Rican born in New York and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a major in English. She has over 30 years of experience teaching ESL in public and private schools as well as working in language schools . As the school's Academic Coordinator, she closely works with teachers and students to oversee day to day Academic operations of the school.
Alejandra Costa

Alejandra is a Puerto Rican professional who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with a minor in TESOL. She has over 10 years of experience teaching ESL to children and adults. As the school's Academic Coordinator, she closely works with teachers and students to oversee day to day Academic operations of the school and has been at Liberty since 2019.
